In 1998, TEA has been involved with a group of European firms
- C.I.S.A.M. Induno Olona (VA), Istituto Materiali Avanzati del CCR di Ispra, Fraunhofer Institute (Germany), Asociation de la Industria Navarra (Spain), Integridade Estrutural (Pourtugal) and others … in a research project financed by European Community under the IV Program EURAM BRITE.
The purpose of this project was the development of a new way to measure the metal hardness.
In this research TEA has developed the hardware and software, and now is producing the electronic parts of this new instrument.
